I am from Miami and the best source of news for anything to do with Miami is this newspaper. My dad and grandfather still actively use it in both digital and paper forms and it provides a reliable and wide range of information. It covers recent sports game results with descriptions of what happened. It has stories on recent political news and any relevant current news for Miami and Florida in general. It even gives explanations and recommendations for things like various items on the voting ballot (for example this election, there are various judges up for retention as well as various local elections for mayors, commissioners, and district representatives which the Herald had info about who each of them are and what they stand for in a great digestible way).
